ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born in Singapore into a Chinese conservative family, Soh Siew Huay is educated in English, trained and worked as a teacher for 38 years.Her BA degree in English Language and Literature really paved the way for her writing career which began in 2004.Her first book of Poetry was published in November 2006. Waves Lapses was published in January 2009 by I-Proclaim. Facets of Life is a collection of four short stories. They are the author's personal experiences of her earlier life as a child and an adult. Some incidents and facts in the stories are fictional.
